Window Joint Pencil Illustration

We were challenged to render a realistic illustration with pencil and an 11x17" sheet. This was actually my first time using an eraser to control value. I am most proud of my creative interpretation of the concrete texture for better visual clarity.

A pencil sketch shows a joint where a wooden post meets wooden window casing on the floor. Behind the glass is carpet, metal vents, legs of a stool and cart, and in front of the glass is speckled concrete.
